New York billboard with messages on Israel, Ukraine is fake

A video spread across social media purports to show an animated digital billboard in New York City with the slogan "Stand With Israel" pushing aside the words "Stand With Ukraine" in November 2023. But the clip is doctored, the latest in a wave of disinformation about the conflicts involving the two countries; the company that owns the sign said it has run no such message, and images AFP and others captured of the display show an advertisement for a movie.

Fake headline spreads unsubstantiated claim on Ukraine-Hamas link

Social media posts claim The Washington Post published an article suggesting Ukraine sent weapons to Hamas following the Palestinian Islamist movement's bloody October 2023 attack on Israel, which sparked a war in the region. This is false; the headline is fabricated and there is no evidence of such aid.

Dilapidated train track is in years-old image and isn’t close to East Palestine derailment site

The image in the widespread photo is from a 6-year-old video that showed an old railway in Ohio. It had already been fixed by the time the Feb. 3 derailment happened in East Palestine.

The Biden-Harris administration announced plans to help railway infrastructure in Ohio, including managing $4 billion to improve rail safety.

A Facebook post said a photo of a dilapidated railroad track shows "what railways in Ohio look like while we send $40 billion to Ukraine."

The image used in the post comes from a 6-year-old video, and that railway has since been fixed.

Fake: Ukrainian Officials Sell Javelins to Hamas and Hezbollah Militants

There is absolutely no evidence that substantiates information disseminated online that Ukraine sold high precision weapons to Islamists under the guise of "surplus". Lists of military equipment that Ukraine sells abroad are published in the public domain. There are no Javelins on the list.
